Special alloy magnets
Traditionally the magnets used in the magnetic stirrers are oversized and magnetic strenght limited, which causes sliding and undocking of the stirring rod. All the SBS equipments incorporate magnets of a special alloy material and high technology, 3 times more powerful than any other magnet and 5 times smaller. |

SBS Treatment
All the magnets, by their own nature display imperfections that affect the precision of the stirring movement causing vibrations. Over the last 30 years SBS has perfected a system of special treatment that balances dynamics magnetically and the magnets eliminating the vibrations and supporting a precise operation. |

Stainless steel housing
The magnetic stirrers are equipment that are constantly splashed, and the corrosive atmosphere and the chemical attacks that quickly rust the materials of low quality like iron or plastic. For that reason we only use STAINLESS STEEL of the best quality in our housings, with the best resistance against chemical and physical attacks can happen. |

Interchangeable Hotplates
In a hotplate/stirrer is common to have to replace the hotplate, since it this a short life element of this type of apparatus. When this moment arrives, a SBS hotplate can be replaced by the own user in less than 1 minute, avoiding losses of time and costs of shipment when technical service is not needed.
Another advantage of this system is the possibility of change the hotplates for ones of different materials withouth technical service. |

Last Generation Flash Microprocessors
Up untill recently, the use of microprocessors in basic laboratory equipment, had more disadvantatges than advantatges, like the price increase of the product, difficult to repair and a considerable shortening of the life of the product.
For that reason in SBS we only use last generation flash microprocessors, sturdy and of proven reliability that increases benefits of equipment without reducing its life and making repair easier. Since they incorporate the novel system of updatable software, with which many operations of adjustment and change of programs of can be made through the incorporated multifunction communications port, with no need to replace the microprocessor.

Intuitive use Ergonomic keyboards
In the last years, an abuse of multifunctional keyboards has been made with the purpose of saving costs in the manufacturing of the product, which has caused that in most cases, to handle a as simple equipment such a magnetic stirrer, requires the continuous consultations of the instructions manual, and remembering complex sequences of pulsations. The SBS philosophy is completely opposite to this system, for that reason we incorporate a key for each function, so that it is fast and easy to use any equipment. Also with our last generation encoders the use of multipoint stirrers has been simplified in such a way that with only 2 encoders go can control up to 18 stirring points quickly and easily working for fields or programming zones.
